一、征文背景

为深入推进南亚国际中文教育研究与实践，搭建南亚中文教育学术交流平台，由云南大学发起的云南—南亚高校中文院系专业负责人协作团、南亚国际中文教育本土化支持服务专家团，面向国内外学界公开征集“南亚国际中文教育”主题学术论文，择优结集出版。

南亚地区包括印度、巴基斯坦、孟加拉国、斯里兰卡、尼泊尔、不丹、马尔代夫等国家，各国中文教育需求日益增长。本次征文旨在系统呈现南亚各国中文教育发展全貌，推动区域内交流互鉴，为协作团和服务团工作提供学术支撑。

二、征文主题

本次征文围绕南亚地区国际中文教育发展，涵盖以下方向（包括但不限于）：

1. 南亚各国中文教育发展现状与总体研究；

2. 南亚各国中文教育政策与制度发展研究；

3. 南亚高校中文专业建设与人才培养模式；

4. 南亚中文教育本土化实践与探索；

5. 面向南亚的中文教材开发与教学资源建设；

6. 南亚本土中文师资培养与发展；

7. “中文+职业教育”在南亚的实践与创新；

8. 旅游中文、商务中文等专门用途中文在南亚的应用；

9. 中国与南亚国家中文教育合作机制研究；

10. 区域国别视野下的南亚中文教育研究；

11. 南亚中文教育数字化与人工智能应用；

12. 南亚中文学习者动机与需求研究。

三、征文对象

中国和其他国家高校教师、研究人员、研究生、中文教育从业者及相关领域学者。

四、征文要求

1. 论文须为原创、未在国内外公开发表且具有学术价值和现实意义；

2. 中文论文字数8000—12000字，英文论文6000—10000词；

3. 论文格式参照学术期刊规范，含摘要（200—300字）、关键词（3—5个）、正文、参考文献；

4. 投稿请注明作者姓名、单位、职称/职务、联系方式及通讯地址；

5. 中文论文请附英文摘要。

1.主办方组织专家匿名评审，择优收录；

Call for Papers: International Chinese Language Education in South Asia

1. Background

To advance research and practice of International Chinese Language Education (ICLE) in South Asia and foster academic exchange, the Yunnan–South Asia Cooperation Group of University Chinese Program Directors and the Expert Group on Localization Support Services for International Chinese Language Education in South Asia, initiated by Yunnan University, invite scholars and practitioners worldwide to submit original research papers on "International Chinese Language Education in South Asia." Selected papers will be published in an edited volume.

South Asia includes countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives. Demand for Chinese language education is growing across the region. This call aims to present a comprehensive picture of Chinese language education in South Asian countries and promote mutual learning and exchange.

2. Themes

We welcome submissions addressing the following topics (including but not limited to):

• Overview of Chinese language education across South Asia;

• Policies and institutional development of Chinese language education in South Asian countries;

• Chinese language programs and talent cultivation models in South Asian universities;

• Localization practices and innovations in Chinese language education in South Asia;

• Textbook development and instructional resources for Chinese language teaching in South Asia;

• Cultivation and Development of Local Chinese teachers  in South Asia;

• "Chinese + Vocational Education" models and practices in South Asia;

• Application of Chinese for Specific Purposes such as Tourism Chinese and Business Chinese in South Asia;

• China–South Asia cooperation mechanisms in Chinese language education;

• Area studies perspectives on Chinese language education in South Asia;

• Digitalization and AI applications in Chinese language education in South Asia;

• Learner motivation and needs in Chinese language education in South Asia.

3. Who Can Submit

University teachers, researchers, graduate students, Chinese language education practitioners, and scholars in related fields worldwide.

4. Submission Guidelines

• Papers must be original, unpublished, and of academic value and practical significance;

• Chinese papers: 8,000–12,000 characters; English papers: 6,000–10,000 words;

• Manuscripts should follow academic journal formatting standards, including an abstract (200–300 words), keywords (3–5), main text, and references;

• Please include author name, affiliation, title/position, contact information, and mailing address;

• Chinese submissions should include an English abstract.

7. Review and Publication

• All submissions undergo double-blind peer review;

• Accepted papers will be published in a formal edited volume; authors retain copyright, and the organizers hold compilation rights;

• Authors of outstanding papers will receive a complimentary copy of the published volume and may be invited to academic conferences on South Asian Chinese language education hosted by Yunnan universities.
